Managing Consolidation Methods & Ownership
In an application with ownership management feature enabled, the consolidation method assigned to a child entity determines the % of child entity consolidated to its parent.Control flag indicates whether the parent has controlling interest in the entity. If the control flag is yes and entity is owned less than 100%, Minority interest for that entity is calculated.
These numbers are used in ownership calculations and intercompany eliminations.
FCCS includes 7 pre-defined consolidation methods.
You can create user defined methods for consolidation. In user-defined methods you can change control flag and consolidation%.
